What does dating pool mean?

Your dating pool is the group of people you might date. A dating pool calculator estimates how many people meet traits you choose.

This calculator uses population records. It does not identify who is currently looking for a partner.

Choose a starting group

Select an age range and location. The calculator compares men and women using the sex categories in Census data.

Add your filters

Income, education, marital status, height, and health filters narrow the group. A person must meet every selected filter.

Read the result

A result of 1 in 50 means about 2% of the starting group meets your filters. A separate count estimates how many people that represents.
