What The Pool Report is

The Pool Report is an independent data project that turns measurable dating filters into transparent population estimates and checks viral relationship claims against their original sources.

Its job is narrow: make the denominator, source year, geography, assumptions, and caveats visible before a number becomes a screenshot.

02

Who writes the research

Articles are published by The Pool Report research desk as organizational work. We do not attach invented expert identities or credentials to automated or collaborative work.

The research desk reads the original publisher’s report, records the exact population and field dates, separates observed figures from models, and links readers directly to the evidence. The complete process appears in the Editorial Policy.

03

What expertise means here

The site does not claim to provide medical, psychological, legal, or relationship advice. Its evidence work is limited to public-data modeling, source interpretation, reproducible calculations, and clear communication of uncertainty.

When a future article requires domain review beyond that scope, the reviewer’s real name, relevant qualification, role, and review date will be shown. Until then, no expert review is implied.

04

How the project is funded

The current site is free and does not load an advertising network. Future advertising or commercial relationships will be labeled and will not be allowed to change a statistical conclusion or suppress a material limitation.

Affiliate, sponsored, survey-partner, or paid-research relationships must be disclosed beside the affected content and in the editorial record.

THE EDITORIAL PROMISE

A large number earns attention. A visible denominator earns trust.
